Got a good nights sleep last night. Brain is working well today and I feel so much better. No one came to exterminate the nasty little vampires so I am taking that as a green light to get it taken care of properly. Tonight my mattress gets cleaned and sealed in plastic, sheets get washed in super hot water. House gets scrubbed tomorrow then the exterminator can have at it. My family is chipping in for the exterminator. The crack ***** downstairs has never gotten treatment from a professional exterminator since she told the landlord before I even moved in. The legal way to do that is to notify the landlord in writing by certified mail. Once I did this, that is when my "caseworker" told me to haul my mattress and box spring to the trash with a note on it saying "bed bug infested, do not use". If I did that and anyone else got bed bugs they can drop off the mattress on the way out, I could be liable for further infestations in other units. As far as rumor's go, they use that to keep tenants in line.
