Thats horrible.

We had a bear hunt in MD last year that upset me. We hadn't had one in years. They said that there are too many black bears, but I live where they are and have never ever seen one.

It upset me more, because the hunters were doing it for sport and not using what they killed. I don't have a problem with hunting if you are feeding your family with what is caught. I do have a problem with it as a "sport".
