It's a new drug that's supposed to reduce alcohol cravings. I know a few people who are on it, from my treatment centre, who says that it's fantastic and that they have no alcohol cravings at all while on it. They also said that there aren't any noticeable side effects. It does however come with the warning that it can cause depression and increase the risk of suicide and so should not be prescribed to people with histories of depression. That's the reason I'm not on it.
