HI, Though I have not had Bariatric Surgery I am going through the same thing right now. I have been bound up for several days. I sometimes when it gets very bad, have to drink some 'Magnesium Citrate' which is what they gave me at the Emergency Room to help me have a bowel movement.

Magnesium Citrate is a very bad tasting carbonated laxative in the laxative section comes in a 10oz. bottle sometimes is flavored in Cherry or plain Lemon Lime and is very sour but really does the trick. However I would recommend that you consult the pharmacist or your physician on the proper dosage for you since you had the Bariatric Surgery it may be different for you.

I hope that soon you find some relief I have battled chronic constipation for years and this is the old standby I use to go when I get really impacted.
