I'm sorry to hear about your job loss but I am glad you have such a wonderful T. Once you're lucky enough to find a T like that, you hang on like crazy.  I have a T that feels the same way about "dependancy". He sees it as a tool to build trust and keep it.
I hope the job market takes an upswing quickly.
