I would keep working on the disability and keep looking for a job, see what happens "first". Very stressful situation you appear to be in. I kind of doubt you'll be thrown in jail for being in arrears on the child support; it's not like you're willfully not paying or are running. You are doing what you can to find a job/get disability so you can resume paying. I'd be a bit more proactive and go to the board and tell them what's happening so they don't have to come to you. You can't get blood from a stone.
