I forgot to mention - it's not good to get in the habit of using stimulant based laxatives except for emergencies or once in a while because the bowels can become dependent on them. The bran buds cereal works for me the best - so do prunes but I don't like their taste and also 'chia' seeds work good - these have the added benefit of omega 3 in them.
