I gave the ones who mentioned something like that a minus 1. At least they gave some indication of what methods they used. But that is just a
name. It doesn't say what they actually do. I have found that the names people give (e.g. psychotherapy) do not actually distinguish what they
do in a session, what they do that makes the difference between success and failure.

As a definite therapy technique, no. It sounds nice to be "compassionate" but I'm not sure that really tells me much except how the therapist wants to be seen.
