I started feeling SAD symptoms kick in this year sometime in August. That's way too early and not a good sign. I'm afraid it will be a rough winter. I'm not even using my light box. My schedule is too mixed up and I don't have time. But what I am doing is trying to get outside and get some exercise when I can, especially in the afternoon when the sun is brightest.
