I personally am not a fan of it myself either. I used to when I was younger, but I've outgrown a lot of things (I used to think I was totally pimping it out because I got my bellybutton pierced).
I'm fine with trimming the hedges, but not with mowing the whole lawn.
My view is, societies trying to create caricatures of ourselves- women have more curves than men, so an attractive woman is meant to look like an hourglass, women have boobies, so an attractive woman is meant to have a big rack, women are smaller than men, so an attractive woman is meant to be thin, women have more feminine facial features, so an attractive woman is meant to have big beautiful eyes and big lips. And women have less hair than men, so we completely remove it it emphasise that. Plus, women are smaller down there than men, so waxing it makes it look tinier than it does leaving it natural. It's exaggeration of what we actually look like, and emphasising what makes women look like women, which in turn makes them look MORE like women.

I hope I explained that in a way that makes sense. But it's a reality. Personally, I don't want to look like that. I'd rather look like Kate Winslet over Jessica Alba any day.
Thanks for this!
