It is scary when you don't know if you are going to get better. I remember asking my Pdoc several years ago if this is as good as I am going to get. She was honest and said, "I don't know". Fortunately I did continue to get better and I hope I can someday do even better. My new Pdoc said it was like a roller coaster and I would be going up and down so just expect that I would feel differently from time to time. He wanted me to know that is normal and it didn't mean I was doing poorly because I had down times.
Are there any therapists in your area that can treat you for free or reduced? My son has no insurance and he sees a physicians assistant for free. Neither my son nor I care much for him but he writes the prescriptions my son needs. How long since the last time you had a therapist?
