Yes, he is so happy with the car with my help he was able to get a Honda with a sun roof. What got us is that we do not live together and we missed not being able to celabrate with him and his friends. But today we spent time with some of our friends and we realized we are not so alone and we talked our selves out of a voice.  We are starting to see more and more trade offs with doing what we are doing. But we still wished for more good times with our son so that we can still feel like a family.
