What matters most is that you are coping well. And if you feel that you are coping well, then kudos to you. That's all we can try our best, is to cope with the resources that we've got.
I had clicked on your link and read about Hospitalization, Good or Bad, When I was a teen, And my father had great insurance, I was in and out 3 times. Of course I loved it, Had a pool table, Anything you wanted to eat. Felt protected there. They would tell my parents I needed to be there while they tried me on new meds. Since then Ive tried new meds where I didn't need to be in a hospital, It seems to me this place was all about the money. But then one day when the insurance ran out They sent me to a state funded mental institution. It was horrible!! They gave me Haldol, Which made my eyes roll back, (Side effect) I lied my way out of there, I said I didn't see or hear things anymore. They still kept me a month. Thinking back now. I hate Hospitals that are for luxury. And the upper class. Poor or low income patients go threw a whole different process, That's often miserable. This is just what I experienced, Others may have different views.
