i took lamictal for about six weeks. no grogginess. it worked great except i got a month long nose bleed. i didnt associate it with the drug and then i began to develop skin rashes. looked on the internet and discovered one of the very rare side effects is a potentially fatal rash. when i quit taking the drug the rash went away and the nose bleed stopped. i was bummed out by this because the lamictal made me feel better than any other drug i've tried. wish you the best of luck with it.
