I really have enjoyed reading this thread. It is really nice to know I am not alone. I went to the er with stomach pains. The computer flashed red with psych alert. They gave me a shot of pepcid and told me to go home. Went to another er and was admitted for the removal of my gall bladder. I used to teach full-time and I remember the ambulance drivers driving me to the hospital after an episode and remarking about how our educational system was in such bad shape! Like did they think I could not hear. I am quite functional most of the time but people tend to overlook that and concentrate on when I am not. Anyway thanks for posting and I hope your dr will listen to you or you are able to find one who will.
