Yoda, and to everyone else who posted on this thread, I can relate to the frustration you feel with licensed medical practitioners. I've run into some problems there myself, but I won't go into any details here about that. I agree with Yoda, and QueenAccountant, their stories of just how misunderstanding and biased towards the mentally ill their doctors and nurses were with them is without excuse. Yes, they are people too, but come on! They are practicing medical providers, they have college degrees, this is what they chose to do with their lives! They should be the first ones to offer support, be understanding, and if they can't understand, they could at least be more sympathetic, and work to overcome the biases that they of all people should not have to begin with!!! These types of people, man, they make me sometimes want to lop off their limbs with a chainsaw!! What are their degrees and medical training good for, if they're going to be so stupid and insensitive? Okay, I'm done with my self-righteous ranting and raving! But... The idea of lopping off an insensitive and biased doctor's limbs with a chainsaw... Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside!!! ( just joking, obviously!)
Thanks for this!
