Welcome In_The_Darkness yes a Psychiatrist is the way to go. So many mental illnesses share symptoms, so it's important to speak to a Professional. While you are waiting for your appointment I would suggest tracking your mood and see if there is anything that is triggering it (i.e. stress, food, caffeine, alcohol etc.) A good free online one is located at http://www.medhelp.org/land/mood-tracker
