Okay, so this is weird for me. When I was diagnosed with bp II and mdd, I was dating someone who was bp I. Before him, I dated someone who wasn't bp, but both his sisters were. My friend, whom I have known for about ten years is, I'm pretty sure, bp/schizo and her mom has been para/schizo for about 40 years. And, a roommate I used to have about 8 years ago, her bf was bp I. I guess I am subconsciencely attracted to like-minded (no pun intended) individuals. Plus, I suppose it is nicer to be with someone who doesn't think I'm stupid or crazy.
