Hi, Stephanie (I use to live in Coronado, have a brother in Huntington Beach :-)

All of your feelings seem normal to me. You have "lost" your understanding, caring, gentle, loving case worker! That's like losing a friend or loved one or coworker, neighbor (when you or they move), etc. It will take some time to grieve and get back to feeling better, more like your old self.

Talk to your new therapist and clinician about your missing Jenny, share with them some of the ways she helped you and why you enjoyed working with her. That might help you bridge to a relationship with your other helpers and move forward again. You probably won't ever forget Jenny but, over time, it's possible to have many more such relationships and get more comfortable living on one's life line and people moving in and out of our lives and we, moving in and out of others' lives, etc.
