Hi pooh_ac. I am fairly new here too. I'm 49 and have also had ect and numerous trials on drugs because depression has reoccurred throughout my life. I am finally on the right drugs now I think. When I get down I am able to pull myself out of it unlike times in the past. Don't give up on the drugs. I know it makes you feel like a guinea pig sometimes when you have to keep trying different ones, but it's worth it in the end.
