hey jbug,

all the foods and beverages that others have mentioned should help you. but, there is one thing missing. do you live a sedentary lifestyle? if so, that needs to be worked on because exercise will help you be more regular. it does not have to be strenuous. walking is fine and will help the insides start moving too.

it is very rare for me to experience constipation even though i suffer from IBS and glucose and lactose intolerance. fortunately, i love to eat veggies, especially leafy green ones. and, i love rice and beans. not only is my greens and beans diet healthy, it also has a lot of fiber (as well as minerals, vitamins, anti-oxidants and protein). i always add white rice so that i don't overdo it on the fiber or get a lot of gas. you might want to consider it.
