Healing is tough... and I think that your brain is refiling those horrible memories you are now remembering... that your T is "around" in your nightmares is good... your link to a firm and stable caring source. With that said, if the night terrors continue, consider something to help you sleep, as ongoing poor sleep and constant terrorization hinders progress.
Take care of yourself. Try grounding/centering techniques as soon as you realize you've had a night mare... put something by the side of your bed, make a light easy to turn on to help you... no one who hasn't had these can possibly understand the intense reality of these things...
