It really does sound like a good stress to me. He sure sounds like he's interested in you, and it sounds like you feel the same way. I can understand you wanting to take it slow, and if it goes any further you might want to tell him that. But for now, I think the card is a great idea, maybe write something about being thankful for his friendship, or something like that...I get cards from several of the people I've become friends with online, and it always makes me feel good. I'm sure he'll feel the same way.
