My hubby's job contract is supposed to end in a few weeks, and he's been getting job offers but the only problem is that they're too far away to get to unless we had a car. Now, we can afford to finance a car, pay for insurance and gas, but my mom is resistant to helping us look for a good deal. She'd rather we spend hundreds of dollars a week on greyhound bus tickets for him to commute, and then turns around and says if we can't afford to pay for the greyhound we can't afford a car. But of course we can't afford a car if we're paying for greyhound tickets! It's a catch 22 and i don't quite know how to explain this to a woman who's usually very intellegent. Please, can someone give me some advice?
