Hi there,
The MMPI has lots of different scales. One of them is called the "Lie Scale" but really it's a scale to see if you're trying to please the person who's testing you by saying good things about yourself that aren't true. But it's not a lie detector test. it just has lots of different areas that will tell you different things about yourself, your strengths and weaknesses. It's actually pretty cool, and getting the results will be very helpful for you. I wonder what the other one is called. Is it the SCID by any chance? Just wondering.
In your session after the tests, you'll talk about what came out of the tests, what your strengths and weaknesses are, and what you should probably work on in therapy. You'll probably come out with a plan for what to do next. Nothing to be nervous about. There are no right or wrong answers, just tell the truth as best you can and you'll be fine.
