I have been taking the pill for a good 4years and have never really had any problems. But in the last few months I keep getting my period randomly. I usually skip my period for 3 or 4 months and then get them and have never really had a problem with breakthrough bleeding.

I let myself get my period around march/april, but in may I suddenly got a heavy period with lots of clots, I had the period for around a week and for that time I was still taking my pill. Next month bleed again for a day or 2, last week got period again for 3 days fairly heavy and clots, then again yesterday fairly heavy and a couple big clots but it has gone today.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on? I went to doctor when it first started and she gave me a form for a blood test, I still havent gone because im chicken lol, but am getting it done tomorrow. I would just like an idea of what could be going on.

I also constantly get period pain and sometimes it feels like my ovaries are aching. I have recently started dexamphetamine in march, not sure if that has anything to do with it but all information helps lol. Thanks in advance
