Facebook has brought me in contact with people from my past. I moved completely away from everyone I knew when I left California & many people had moved out of my life long before that. The names I remember (not really good with names) I have looked up & found people from my past who I have gotten in contact with.

One was a neighbor boy that I grew up with until I was in 6th grade when his family moved north to San Francisco area. I have been in contact with their parents when both of my parents died, but then I decided to just message to him. It's interesting to have someone that remembers that past of my life also being an only child, I had no one to reminisce with....pretty cool.

Of course, it's a good place to stay in contact with my daughter who will post about what's going on in her life & also my horse trainer in California since my husband doesn't let me know how my horses are doing, at least I can stay in contact with her a little.

I have also looked up other people from my past, a girl from college who I had lost contact with when she moved out of state after getting married. Also gives me a chance to keep in contact & see how my other friends kids are doing (who were also friends with my daughter).

I have found businesses that have information about things that I am interested in (jewelry beading) & information on political issues that I am also interested in that keeps me up to date when I don't read my emails.

I refused to play any of the games. I don't have time for that, but when I write messages to people, it takes me a long time to put the words together, so I spend a lot of time writing to people. Most agrivating part of that (even with my email replies) is that my internet drops in signal (packets) & I will loose my internet connection & all I am writing if I can't or don't save it while I am taking a long time to compose a message. grrrr, does that make me frustrated. That happened when I was replying to my horse trainer this morning. I had spent about 4 hours putting the reply together & just before I was finished....poof.....SNAP!!!!.....grrrr!!!! Lost the whole thing & my mind just can't put the words back together after spending that much time on it.....so I gave up & went onto something else on the computer.

Right now, it's too hot outside to do anything except sit in my AC room in my house with my computer now that I have my router, so I go between FB, PC (which I really love better than FB anyday), & my emails.

Hate it when I don't have the energy to do anything else but sit here on the internet. Not that I'm addicted but just no energy to do anything else. When I find my energy, I will end up being away from my computer for days, even weeks.....just depends on life events & temperatures that I am living with.
