My friends all keep bugging me to write a book - most of my friends are writers and they know I used to write a lot. But I haven't been published other than some poetry that was published when i was in university and high school.

So I decided to submit an article to the AA Grapevine for the Jan. edition. They were calling for articles on "Acceptance" so I wrote my story on how I came to finally accept that I was an alcoholic.

It was kind of scary to submit it.

Part of me hopes it gets published because that would be cool, and part of me doesn't because everyone who knows me in AA will immediately know it's my story even though they just publish first names and city.

Oh well nothing I can do about it now.
