Don't worry! I thought these things too, when I was first diagnosed. It turned out that I didn't stop saying funny, smart-aleck things; I just didn't say them at inappropriate times (or didn't say the things that, when I had time to think twice, weren't really a good idea!). My friends and colleagues commented that far from thinking something was wrong with me, it was much easier to carry on a conversation with me. I would look at them instead of around the room and could stay on the thread of a conversation without getting distracted by a random thought.
