I can just picture your T having a problem using that word.....must have been funny.
I try to choose my words so carefully now as when my anger was overflowing with my husband, so were my 4 letter words.....it just became a habit. I personally like the word "crap" & use it now quite often in place of it's other option. Feel it's a nicer way of expressing the other option.
Love to see how people handle words like that when they do come up in the conversation. I will never forget the time when I was together with my family (parents & grandparents......I am 57 & my grandparents were in their 80's at the time....many years ago). I was irritated about something my grandmother had said & blurted out that it was a bunch of BS. My grandmother had no idea what BS stood for & my grandfather graciously explained that it stood for "Bologna Soup". I had the coolest grandpa who always knew just the right way to handle things.
It is always interesting to see how people handle & react to certain words that we feel best express what we are saying.
Thanks for sharing cute situation with your T.
