Dear Jay,, i think you might be surprised at how meditation can help with those obcessive thoughts. if you can get to a meditation center, or even a DBT group, and start with Mindfulness training, that would be a good place to start. I have been Dx with OCD and Trich for 20 yrs, and finally, about 5 yrs ago, i was recommended to try this new technology called Center Point. it feeds a different tone in each ear by stereo headphones and CD's , and makes the brain reconnect the two sides.
