I'm glad you reached out and asked for help
Often, after a session, (or between sessions!), I just need a place where I feel a little bit "held". This is a good place, because there are so many people who understand what it feels like to open up and then be left with that kind of raw feeling.
Be extra gentle with you. Sometimes after a tough session, if my schedule allows, I get in my pajamas and curl up with a soft blanket and just let myself rest. I read a book, or watch a happy movie, or knit, and just try to let myself "be". Therapy is hard work.
