Today I am thankful for (1) beer; (2) brandy; (3) Harry Connick; and (4) cigarettes, understanding that soon, if I get the second job I'm after, I will have to give up everything except Harry Connick. My wife loves Harry Connick, and I think he's one of the best jazz musicians around.
