My therapist always tell me that if she push me too hard, (As in making me feel way too overwhelmed and uncomfortable, she told me she has a tendency to push client too hard), just tell her by either raising my hand or to tell her to stop it. She said it won't make her feeling offended or hurt her feeling. I know it is important to talk about what is bothering me inside, i know that talk about what is bothering me is the point of therapy, but telling her to stop when i feel way too overwhelmed really help me feel less depressed and overwhelmed after session.
Thanks for this!
