Yes, I am in physical therapy, go to a chiropractor three times per week, walk moderately, tread water every day and receive steroid injections under fluoroscopy on a regular basis. I have consulted with three neurosurgeons and they are all in agreement that the surgical intervention presents more risks (in my case) than warrants the desired benefits. Finally, I decline narcotic therapy as I understand that it exacerbates depression enough that due to my BP1, it would be a foolish decision. I use a tens unit regularly and live on ice packs but learned that I package of frozen peas holds the cold longer.

Thank you for your concern and suggestions.

And thanks to all for allowing me to whine. Today I am working on being more positive (as I usually tend to be) in the face of adversity. So, I keep going, even when I would rather crawl under the covers, ask for help when I am having trouble and do all that I can to live in the solution rather than the problem.
Thanks for this!
