Hey hun... from experience, my ex b.f. would be very upset if I asked him if he hated me. He would get the same way, just stop talking and get a very sad look on his face. He told me that it hurt him to hear me ask if he hated me because he felt like he wasn't doing enough to make me happy and I was doubting his love. I hope that helps
