Oh I'm fine... Now that I thnk about it, the whole thing was kinda funny. So like I said before, I totally have a crush on this girl that works at the bar that we hang out at. Well, I was kinda nervous about asking her out but I was going to do it. One of my friends thought it would be a good idea to send the girl we were hanging out with over to talk to the waitress to find out her status... like is she single or not. Well, I didn't know she was doing this and when it was her turn to shoot pool, I was like "Where's Chantall?" My friend said "She's over talking to the waitress finding out if she's single or not." I was mortified. I mean, come on... this isn't high school. I would have found out for myself if she was single when I asked her out. Well, it turns out that she's seeing someone which is cool, but here's the thing. I'm with 3 other people. One is a girl. One is in a relationship. One isn't looking for a relationship right now. Now the waitress knows these facts very well since my friends hang out there all the time. I'm kinda new since I just moved back home and she doesn't know me very well yet. I guarantee that she figured out what was going on and that I was interested in her. I was so darn embarrassed. Well, now I'm obviously not going to ask her out now. About an hour goes by and we're still hanging out shooting pool and the waitress comes over to talk to me. If I could have crawled in a hole I would have. But she sits down next to me and says that she just started seeing this guy a few weeks ago and would have said yes in a heartbeat if she weren't seeing him. Ok... either lying so as to not make me feel bad or telling the truth. Probably telling the truth. Then she asked me why I didn't ask her out a while back if I was interested because then I would have had a date. I just told her that I didn't really become interested in her until the other night when my friends were out there and she and I got to talking for a little while. I felt a little better after she and I talked but I was still embarrassed. Whatever... the whole thing is kinda funny.
