I like this statement. I think my inner child who first broke through my silence and expressed herself via drawing. Since then I've been able to work through a lot of different issues/emotions/thoughts via art. As stuff first started to come out, I can't say it wasn't threatening to me personally. Some of the images I created i had to immediately put in a folder for a while before I was ready to view and try and understand them. Now however the images I create have slowly changed as I've processes and come to terms with my past. It is nice sometimes to put the drawing in order to see how I've changed.
