It's comforting to see you online today and to know that you're still able to access the internet. We all use the site for the same thing - acceptance. There are many of us on here with the same illness, it's comforting to know that we are not alone. I asked questions on there about things that I'm going though and feeling, and ask if that is normal for my illness.... It's comforting to hear that someone else feels and goes throught the exact same thing that I am. I'm not alone, what is happening to me is due to the illness I have, it makes me feel some what "normal" in my illness - that it's not all in my head. It's so hard to explain....
But we want to hear from you, we want to know how you are doing, we are here to support you and listen. Sometimes you need to have others listen and respond so that you know you are not alone - that others are going through the same thing you are in a different way. It keeps you connected....that makes me feel that I'm not alone. Thinking you alone is the worst feeling there is. A jounal doesn't give you the sense of comfort this sight does. Does this make any sense????? I love this site. It brings me so much comfort and place where I feel I belong because so many of us are dealing with the same issues.
