I'm sorry things are not the way you would like them. Have you thought that your jealousy is one thing that could be making him feel less sexy? (I know that some women feel less sexy after childbirth). Theres nothing worse than jealousy to stop the clock in that regard though. It has to be difficult for him when he's getting belted down for looking straight ahead of him walking down the street based on someone YOU think is prettier than you. So is it ok if he looks at someone not as pretty as you?

Being a new dad is just as tiring as being a new mum and you have to give him time to adjust to a whole new life and family. One day theres two of you the next day there are 3 of you, there really is no preparation for that. Also he is supporting two of you and no one is supporting him, he may be feeling that he is in this on his own with no one to support him?

Ease up on him and let him get used to being a father. And remember he may not want another baby so soon after the first, he may be concerned about you becoming pregnant again too quickly. Men worry about things too, so if you give him time to get used to this one before you have another, or if you reassure him you are not wanting to get pregnant again it might help him to relax?

I don't know how old your new baby is but it does take a little time for things to go back to normal after childbirth and times vary from about a month to 12 months depending on who what where and why. Some folks get back to it early because there is no episiotomy, some like to wait until they feel more like themselves; some feel so unlike themselves that they need to see a therapist to find out why they don't want sex. If he was there at the birth give him time to get used to what he saw happening, not all men are ready for what they see and it puts a damper on sex because all they can see in their mind is the baby being born. Just throwing a hotch potch of things in here to think about,

Rhiannon
