Yes my partners know I cut. If we make it to the bedroom they are going to see the scars anyway and without my telling them they will know so I prefer not to go as far as that intimate moment and then suddenly hear "Oh sh-- what accident were you in" or other various comments. So by the time we reach that point the person already knows I cut. When they hear it from me they are not so shocked and can understand why I need that release. And most times are very willing to help come up with other forms of release so that I am not cutting while I am with them.
