Yep, sure is. My husband's story is pretty similar to yours. He doesn't get ignored at church, but he does have social anxiety. When I told him about what I'd put in this thread, he said he'd gone through the same kind of crap, and I know his father was abusive toward him. Didn't even call him by his name. Called him something I can't repeat here.
