I hope you have managed to settle somewhat.
One thing you should know for your own benefit and health, is that you shouldn't be taking someone elses medication. You could be reacting to it badly and that is why you are waking up every ten minutes. Some people react to vallium that way.
Have you tried the deep breathing exercises? They do help and if you give them a run you might find some relief.
Breathe in deeply through the nose to the count of 5, hold for the count of 5 and then allow the breath to release through your lips. Repeat this 5 times. Each time you exhale you will feel your mind and body relaxing and by the time you reach the last cycle of 5 you should feel much better.
