I sometimes study by following links on the computer too; I love it and it "tunes out" what is going on around me because I get so involved. Take a question you want to study, something a text book says or your notes or practice questions, etc. and follow links to links to links, etc. and learn a subject in greater detail than the book/class gives it. I still remember several finals I aced by giving details to support the thesis of my argument, neither of which were covered in class or my texts :-) Professors/Teachers really love it when you show you were doing "extra" research/reading/studying.
