My husband was even more irritable on Wellbutrin than when he was depressed. However, it did pull him out of his rut. He stopped taking it after 2 months (and then slid back into the rut, as one would predict) because the side effects, for him, were that he felt physically agitated and had splitting headaches.

In retrospect, he says that he knows that it helped him, but if he knew then what he knows now, he would have gone back to the PDOC and asked for something else instead of the way he handled it.
