I'm not sure the past can be diagnosed, but the present sure can, and based on your recounts I think the doctor will have a reasonable idea of what you were going through as a child and teenager.

I think if it puts your mind at ease and she is someone you can feel comfortable then it's a good idea. It's good that she takes medicaid it puts your mind at rest regarding costs. Good luck with this and let us know how you go,
