This is how I think about it: my body has done nothing wrong. It deserves my love and support as if it were someone else's body. It's just my brain chemistry that makes me feel like I want to hurt myself, but it's not my body's fault. Take it out on a pillow or something that doesn't hurt anyone. Okay?
Me: feeling less anxious this morning, but I've been sleeping in really late over the past 2 days. I have work tomorrow and am not looking forward to it, but trying to just focus on what I want to accomplish today: some reading and maybe some writing.
