I had a colposcopy done last Thursday (which really hurt, by the way) and got my results back this morning. My obgyn says I have Mild Cervical Dysplasia and my immune system can knock it out since it's in the first stage, but it's doubtful since my immune system has always been weak. I go back in 6 months for another pap and colposcopy and if it's still there and has progressed, he's either going to freeze it off or do leep surgery to get it off. From what I understand, if it goes past stage 3, it becomes cervical cancer and I'll then have to have my cervix removed, leaving me infertile. I'm only fixing to be 19 and I want children someday.

Does or has anyone else had this disease? What was/is the experience like for you? ANY information on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
