Hi ariatboot; I do love my p-doc, but while in the hospital if she was unavailable I had to deal with a different p-doc and he was an arrogant prick! I think it's important to feel like you can speak openly with any doctor; especially a p-doc.
Perhaps mention your concerns and see what she says. Sometimes people don't realize how they come across to others and she may just need to change her approach with you. You may also want to find a new p-doc (yes I know easier said than done).
What helps me before I see my p-doc is write a list of what I need to speak to her about. This helps me stay on topic and also so I don't forget any episodes I had between visits. I hope that helps a bit.
