But the weird thing is that I have been feeling like I am going to go crazy unless I have sex soon. It feels like an addiction, that I am on edge and nervous and cranky and restless. I have to keep myself distracted when I am asleep and that barely keeps me from going crazy. At night for the past nearly two weeks I have been having very sexual dreams that makes me feel better and worse when I wake up. The weirdest thing is that when I am awake and really nervous one of the only things that actually makes me feel better is to put my hand on my throat. I am not chocking myself, I can still breath, but just holding onto it and controlling whether I take a deep breath or a struggled breath. My ex and I used to have sex like this on occasion--he was generally a pretty gentle guy but I told him that I got really excited when a guy put his hand or arm against my throat and, while still letting me breath, restricted it.

Sorry for the long explanation...my question is any of this normal? (the chocking fantasy, the feeling of going crazy without sex, and having to hold onto my throat)...

sure its normal. we cant all be like great great grandma and great great grandpa who only did straight missionary get it done and over with.. we live in a very modern time when its normal for people to experiment with sex and find out what things "turn the on" and what things "turn them off".

one thing that might help in accepting yourself and how and what you enjoy is planned parenthood. most places they are free or sliding fee costing which is based on what you can afford, and they have loads of information about sex, from the basic to the fantasys, and fetishes you may enjoy. they sure helped me to understand all about sex.

theres a couple books the planned parenthood therapist recommended for me and my partner. they are The Joy of Sex and The Joy of Sex 2. I forget who the authors are at the moment but you could probably find them on amazon.com
